About Teresa

I am a Spanish  American Romani woman and interdisciplinary artist with roots in Southern Spain and the San Francisco Bay Area.  

The August Rivers namesake pays homage to my dad, musician, Agustin Rios.

I went to Goddard! for my Bachelor of arts where  I studied art, writing & ethnography .

I have a Post Graduate International Diploma

of English  Language Teaching (IDELT) and several teaching certifications, including teaching online and curriculum design from Bridge TEFL.

I 've worked in the arts, home healthcare and currently work as a humanities tutor, ESL teacher  and eldercare management/advocacy consultant.
